Sort of want to get this done before I start my final journey back to Butler and while I still remember.  So with that said:

-Friday morning was a bit hectic: at first I didn't think I needed to go to Oktoberfest early because I found out on the net that it didn't start until 5PM that Friday.  So I decided to head over to Findlay Market (after breakfast of the two remaining donuts from my donut challenge) and ended up doing a long walk through a good chunk of the city.  Then about 10:30AM, I remember why I wanted to get out early: the dachshund, which started at 11.  I rushed back to my car and drove all the way down to downtown, and barely made it to see half the remaining races and the final; where I did see some funny stuff but that's because dachshunds are dachshunds.  I ultimately parked at a garage near the Great American Ballpark cause it seemed like all day parking was 10.00...remember that.

-One chain I kept coming across to my advantage Friday was "Taste of Belgium", which really was a good thing.  I had my Findlay coffee from there, a "Belgian Roast"; then with lunch I took a suggestion and went there for "Chicken and Waffles".  It was the first time I had that meal anywhere and it was amazing, with it being hot-seasoned fried chicken on authentic-ish Belgian Waffles covered on local Ohio syrup.

-Thanks to the mess of the morning, I had several hours to kill before Oktoberfest and the Reds game.  So I ended up walking across the river to Kentucky and spent a couple hours at a really nice bookstore in Covington (Robling Bookstore) and ran into a local library nearby to print out my Reds ticket since I forgot back home. (they claim there's an App for that, but why DL it for one baseball ticket?)

-Around 5, I did finally go to Oktoberfest...and it was a fun street festival.  Since dinner was already paid for (had a voucher for the Reds ticket for dinner), I ended up getting a couple early snacks to sustain me until then.  The most notable: stout and pretzel ice cream from Graeter's; also got a small pretzel platter but unfortunately the pretzels were pre-buttered but the beer cheese they came with wasn't bad.

-Then from there it was time for the Reds game.  Ended up going to the local institution of Frisch's Big Boy at the stadium for a burger with my voucher, which...eh, they pride it but it's basically just a Big Mac with small patties and tartar sauce.  The game was fun though and I ended up winning lunch due to the Reds: when they got 11 strikeouts, I got a free LaRosa's Pizza...which turned out more like a Papa Johns', but it was free so no complaints.

-I had to clear the street of my Airbnb location yesterday morning due to some event from 7 to 12; since I woke up early, I needed to find a coffee house.  I was going to find a Tim Hortons, which actually the closest was in Kentucky, but ended up instead at another coffeehouse called "Reality Tuesday", which turned out to have really good coffee.  Spent the time starting the next phase of my Power Rangers watch, which brings me into Zeo. (I'll get those reviews up here soon).

-I ended up going to a local Cincinnati museum which probably was one of the most expensive of the trip (really it was 6 bucks parking and 24 for a ticket to one exhibit!), but the exhibit was Star Wars costumes.  Since I did Star Trek last year for it's anniversary, I think it was neat that I balanced it out.  Thing is, I was more interested and took pictures mostly of the classic IV-VI movies and avoided the prequel and VII...except for two reasons: Finn from VII (who I did like), and the Darth Vader suit, which wasn't from the classic trilogy and was from the infamous "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" scene from III, but it's still Darth Vader and you have to make do with what you can. (and if anyone wants proof, I'll put up a pic of the Leia slave bikini later)

-The last thing of note for the vacation was dinner and dessert last night.  I went back to Kentucky one last time due to a small chili chain known as Dixie Chili, which claimed to have a vegetarian 5-way with actual veggie crumbles instead of just beans (and it turned out really good!); then to Putz's Dairy Whip back in Cincy where I got a "blue-on-blue". (blueberry soft serve with a blue raspberry shell).

With all that said and done, the trip I think is officially done.  I'm not going to the pawpaw festival since its' 15 bucks (if it was not my vacation I may chance it but...); so it's back to reality today.  But hey, was still a fun trip and i do hope to figure out what to do for next time.
