When I was talking to a person at my last job, if I were to live in the eastern part of the country, I would choose to live in Vermont or New Hampshire. I enjoyed my stay over at Waterville Valley in New Hampshire a while back and I figure Vermont would be somewhat similar (even though I haven't been in VT).
