-This was a rough week capped off by a rough weekend.  To sum it up: Saturday I had to take my sister all the way up to the Lehigh Valley and ended up helping out at an E-Recycling event, mostly cutting wires on dead TVs and moving around computer monitors to be disposed properly.  It was exhausting and I got sunburn on the back of my neck, but on the other hand it was neat seeing the whole history of television in one place from an old Philco and a combo TV/Radio/Record Player from RCA...to a flat-screen I swear had 3D capability that someone no longer wanted or was damaged. (plus somehow I got paid for it)  Sunday, of course, was Mother's Day and mostly I was trapped doing things with mom all day: on one hand that meant finally seeing "Avengers: Age of Ultron", but on the other I had to go to another dinner with my sister's fiance and his family...barely got what I needed to for the weekend done in the little free time I did have.

-Speaking of Mother's Day, my content for the day is semi-bust...I say semi cause I still hope its coming.  I have SFM 54 about that holiday and...I was trying to get a sketch from a certain artist but unfortunately it got really late (even though I was next in line) and I had too many things to do before bed. (sorry, I'm punctual and try to at least be a good son to get things that I need to done)  Hopefully the Fan Mail will be done and up today or tomorrow; while the sketch...hopefully I'll get it but the line gets really long and people want super huge/complex things from the artist so sometimes I just don't get to my turn and I don't want to just "stay up".

-On the positive front: I actually became an administrator on a Wikia Friday, finally becoming one on the Power Rangers/Super Sentai one!  Likewise I got a couple other toku admin jobs for a couple really small Wikias which I will have to probably start watching the shows of in the near future (Tomica Heroes and Chouseishin); at least there are some cool things I hear about both. (they also offered by Garo...but somehow I felt more at home wanting to do Tomica and Chouseishin than Garo, dunno why; not interested in starting Garo yet)

-Now for a mini-review of "Age of Ultron": to sum it up in one word..."eh".  It just felt like "another superhero movie" with nothing that special to make it stand out or interesting.  I did like some things about it (the running gag about Thor's Hammer, Vision, our first glimpses at Wakanda with knowledge that T'challa will be in the Cap movie next year, some of the little things they used with Hawkeye), but there were too many "big action sequences" and Ultron was just too jokey as a villain, all the more with the whole thing pretty much set off by the possibility of something worse (Thanos) coming and thus the need to solve the problems here before it arrives and screws us over.  On the other hand, consider me interested in "Ant-Man" thanks to the new trailer...

Would be an interesting sight to see all those old TVs and see how they managed to stick around (and possibly work) all this time.  It reminds me with one of my old roommates having to haul a 70's style TV up and down a flight of stairs.  Fortunately, we were on the second floor.

That seems to be the sentiment for Age of Ultron so far from what I've heard from others.  I haven't seen it myself, and as far as I know, neither has my sister and she's the Marvel fangirl.  Maybe if I have some time I'll see it, but I'm in no rush.
