Quick Musings - 8/27/15

-With the computer finally back home, I finally did my last tallies I needed to get done.  Overall the whole vacation ordeal hurt...bad.  Combining all the car repairs, the rental car matters (which also stems from the car repairs), the hotels, the speeding ticket and whatnot, everything was easily close to 3500.00.  My bank account claims I may have more and I'm still trying to pay down some credit card matters, but you can probably see now why I need a bit of time to recover.  Probably just going to renew my Pro membership on DA and stick with some stream pics from a certain artist for the moment; with Halloween still probably a "most likely not" unless I get one or two big pics of a girl or two. (and I said I wanted to pay for the accident out of pocket too...then again I know my insurance rates may be going up in the near future...)

-The worst part about it: since I started to think about going to a city next year, I'm already brainstorming way too many ideas for where to go.  This is the current list so far:

Worst of all, mom may be coming with so I may need two trips! (if she does, she has shown interest in Pittsburgh, Atlanta or Vancouver/Seattle)

Update: Mom's leaning towards Pittsburgh so I may just do what I did last year: one trip with her, one trip on my own, both about long weekends.  BTW: considering the closest I've had to a visit to a city last vacation was Yankton, South Dakota (well OK, I was in Vermillion too), it wouldn't be so bad to go to one in '16; especially since aside that and Bangor, Maine, the last real major city I've been in on vacation was New Orleans. (I was never really in Des Moines or Sioux Falls, just going to Falls Park and the fairgrounds and not the cities proper)

-Been in a Ruth or Mia mood suddenly; not enough of my muscle mice.  They're not all the others but I do still think they're adorable.
