The Human Cricket - Vertigo66

As of late, I've had the weirdest of obsessions...with the "Total Drama" series. (Island, Action, World Tour) Originally I just passed it off as some stupid cartoon way too obsessed with pop culture like...well, some other shows I refuse to mention here. But when I finally got into it...I discovered something more: sure it's silly but it has a lot of human drama, craziness, memorable characters (stereotypes and beyond) and probably one of the few TV shows out there that isn't ashamed to declare "we're from Canada...and who cares, we love it!" (then again I love Canada so...) Of the characters on the show, probably one of my favorites is the "crazy obsessive A-type" Courtney: sure she's extremely cute but somehow I just like how she has so many positive and negative qualities that end up making her that memorable, from her obsession with scholastics and the arts to her constant obsession with suing the show over the stupidest of things. Sure she drives most of the other castmates batty, but I love her. (well...I love Lindsay more but...don't tell that to her face)

This particular image is an "upgraded" version of her super-hero guise as introduced in the TDA episode "Super Hero-ld", where the challenge involved creating superhero identities. In the episode, Courtney became "The Human Cricket", cleverly making a really cute outfit (that showed her completely off and made her wear Deely Bobbers) and showing off her athleticism...and her ability to annoy people with a harsh chirping. When I saw this, I knew she needed an "upgrade"...and while most of that is in the obvious (then again she had a great rack before this), I sort of adjusted her "chirpers" to a pair of leg-warmers...which hopefully should chirp if rubbed. I just hope Courtney doesn't sue me for defamation of character.
