Day 11: Sweet-Lolita (Steampunk)
On the converse of the more "normal" Victorian realm of a previous pic is a steam-punk Victorian era, where the world has become highbrow with low-tech and the old ways never died out, merely evolved in modern times. In amidst this chaotic world lives a beautiful teal-colored maiden who has awoken into an adorable proper setting by no control of her own. There are some rumors she used to be a soldier who left the service after an encounter with a mysterious woman who saw the good within a lackey of the oppresive government, making her awaken into a bountful, beautiful yet bizarre creature. Having escaped from her former life, her human side tries to free minds from the corrupt chaos of this world; while her other side awakens to deal with the chaotic elements with class and a huge parasol to both fight and embrace the madness of modern steampunk society.
"Oh dear; I do hope the invaders don't attack the zepplin once again. I do believe I shall have to handle them...properly of course."
Sweet lolita/steampunk Hydie is one of my favorite Hydie forms having been one of my favorite to commish alternate Hydies, so of course she had to show up in this set. I want to work more out in how to fit her in a steampunk world (or if she just likes wearing sweet lolita in the real world), but I do think I got across some of my intentions in this.
